WHAT WE DO

We are a full-service creative digital agency. Our people, technology and insights help global media and entertainment, sports and lifestyle brands create, manage, localise, distribute and place their content, and evaluate its media reach.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

We are seeking a Junior Technical Operator to work within our trailer production department specialising in the localisation of film trailers for global distribution. The role will utilise your existing Digital Cinema localisation and DCP encoding experience to produce content for these global trailer launches.

THE ROLE

Our trailer team is a new department within business that has grown extensively in the last year. The role involves

working in a fast-paced environment where you are often required to manage conflicting client demands and delivery on a tight turnaround with no margin for error. Thus, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Localisation of content – graphics insertion, subtitling and dubbed audio layback
  • Transcoding of files to various broadcast and online formats
  • Editing of cutdowns for social media and online
  • Uploading/downloading of content to/from various bespoke digital Asset management systems
  • Trailer finishing across multiple aspect ratios for online, broadcast and social media platforms
  • Mastering final trailers in multiple languages to be played out in cinemas across the globe
  • Working with Motion graphics, audio and QC teams to produce localised trailer versions for global trailer launches

Successful candidates will be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and have a general understanding of video editing/post-production techniques.

It is essential that candidates demonstrate a desire to learn, and a motivation to grow into a key member of the team, along with a flexible approach to meeting tight deadlines.

This role will be Monday to Friday from 2:15pm until 22:45pm to cover our LA client.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant experience within a similar environment would be beneficial
  • A strong work ethic. Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work, finishing projects with accurate outputs and meeting deadlines
  • Confident in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders; knows when it is appropriate to convey a message via email and when it is more appropriate to speak to someone in person
