From the early stages, DMS played a pivotal role in bringing Judy to life, partnering with Pathé to create a captivating mood reel for Sales purposes. To highlight the emotional depth and market potential of this biopic, we used a mix of archive footage of Garland on and off stage, alongside shots of Zellweger’s stunning musical performances. This reel was instrumental in generating excitement among potential buyers and distributors at key film markets, helping Pathé secure financing.
In the run-up to the film’s theatrical release, our team localised trailers, TV spots, featurettes, and more, managing distribution to over 15 global markets via PANTHER ONLINE®. DMS’ involvement didn’t stop there. A year later, we oversaw the technical mastery of the feature film for Home Ent, ensuring that files were updated, encoded, and quality-checked for delivery across multiple territories.
