From Day One, our Creative Services teams, led by Shooting Producer James Dean, were busy capturing talent junkets. Director Savanah Leaf stopped to talk about her new film, “Earth Mamma”, in a solo junket captured for Mubi. Meanwhile, another solo junket was taking place with “The Royal Hotel” Director, Kitty Green, also captured for Mubi.
Later that same day, our crews headed to Southbank’s Royal Festival Hall for the premiere of Jeff Nichols’s hotly anticipated ‘The Bikeriders.’ Creative Services team captured interviews with director Jeff Nichols and producer Sarah Green on the red carpet. Plenty of stars were in attendance, including Jamie Oliver, Roman Kemp, Dawn O’Porter, Richard Hammond, and Joe Wicks. We had one camera stationed on the red carpet to capture B-roll and another in press pens capturing soundbites on behalf of Disney’s 20th Century Pictures.
Next up, we were thrilled to capture the World Premiere of “Star Imagine” at BFI’s London Film Festival. In collaboration with The National Film and Television School (NFTS), Disney’s new short film incubator program helps springboard underrepresented filmmakers and amplify the cultural and creative impact of their work. The launch featured 6 short films that centered on the theme of ‘Evolve.’ Throughout the screening, our crew filmed soundbites from the talented creative teams behind each of the short films.
Later in the week, we captured our biggest junket of the festival. On behalf of Mubi, we facilitated a multi-room junket for ‘How To Have Sex’. With crews stationed on each room, we had to pleasure to produce interviews for several outlets with director Molly Manning Walker and talent, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Shaun Thomas, Lara Peake, Enva Lewis, and Sam Bottomley in attendance.
