This year’s LFF journey began at The Soho Hotel, capturing exclusive moments with filmmakers and stars. Led by our creative production team, the team handled a multi-room junket with directors of National Geographic’s Endurance, along with four members of the expedition depicted in the film, captivating the in-person press by sharing insights into the documentary’s production and themes.
The team then headed straight for The Langham where they filmed promotional content with actor Caleb Landry Jones, promoting his latest project, Harvest, a historical drama from Mubi that was also debuting at the festival.
One of the festival’s biggest red-carpet events was the Gala premiere of Disney Searchlight’s Nightbitch at The Royal Festival Hall. Our team was on the ground as Disney’s house crew to interview the filmmakers and stars of the film, including lead actress/producer Amy Adams and writer and director Marielle Heller, while also capturing all the candid moments and reactions from the carpet. Soundbites were edited and uploaded within minutes, allowing media outlets access to footage from the star-studded event in near real-time.
Later in the week, the team coordinated a hybrid junket for Queer, an anticipated romance film directed by Luca Guadagnino. Filmed on behalf of Mubi at Claridge’s Hotel, Guadagnino, alongside leading cast member Drew Starkey, participated in both virtual and in person interviews with media outlets from around the world, making this one of the most dynamic and logistically complex projects DMS undertook at LFF.
Concluding DMS’s LFF journey was a Q&A session with Bring Them Down’s director Christopher Andrews and three of the film’s producers, held at The Charlotte Street Hotel. Our crew captured this intimate session using a two-camera setup for both wide and close-up shots, providing an in-depth look into the making of Mubi’s atmospheric thriller.
While our Creative team captured red-carpet moments live on the ground, our Media Intelligence and Social Media teams operated behind the scenes to monitor the festival’s reach and media presence.
