DMS DELIVERS 2921 LOCALISED ASSETS FOR SONY PICTURES’ HIGH-IMPACT GLOBAL CAMPAIGN

In support of Sony Pictures’ global campaign for Napoleon, DMS delivered an extensive suite of 2,921 localised assets, successfully reaching 58 territories across all social, digital, TV, and radio channels. The Ridley Scott-directed epic starring Joaquin Phoenix as Napoleon and Vanessa Kirby as his wife Josephine, grossed over $220 million at the global box office before debuting on Apple+ at the start of the year.

Our work involved day-and-date trailer localisation to support a synchronised online launch, ensuring that audiences worldwide experienced the campaign at the same time. This rollout featured direct ordering and approval processes with local teams, empowering territories to quickly adapt assets to their market needs while achieving a remarkable approval rate, significantly accelerating distribution timelines. 

The campaign required highly customised creative edits, including influencer-targeted assets tailored specifically for markets like the UK. These bespoke edits allowed DMS to align Sony Pictures’ global message with regional preferences, effectively capturing audience attention and catering to genre-specific tastes. To further ensure seamless integration across platforms, our team also managed local compliance checks, clearances, and broadcast deliveries to accommodate the nuanced standards of each region. 

For the U.S. domestic market, our team reformatted and tagged 362 assets, enhancing their relevance and reach for the targeted audience. Additionally, we led a centrally managed TV campaign for the EMEA market, working directly with local territories and media buyers to unify and amplify campaign messaging across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. 

Through our secure asset platform, PANTHER ONLINE®, all assets were accessible on demand, allowing Sony Pictures and local teams worldwide to review and deploy content instantly, thereby maintaining momentum and cohesion across global markets. This successful collaboration not only underscored DMS’s commitment to delivering high-quality, localised content but also showcased our ability to meet the rigorous demands of a high-impact, global campaign.
