Our Most Anticipated Releases Upcoming in 2021

Whether it is the latest superhero release or an intimate family drama, here at DMS we all love every aspect of cinema.

Last year, we were all treated to at-home access to top-quality films. However, this year, theatres are well and truly back.

Across all our teams, our employees are incredibly excited at the array of new releases upcoming in the next few months, heading towards huge winter releases as No Time to Die, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Dune, Spider-Man: No Way Home and The King’s Man.

Over the past few weeks, it has been fantastic to see the return of the international Box Office, with audiences flocking to see the latest releases and records being broken in the process.

For Laura Bancroft, one of our dedicated Versioning Producers, her most anticipated film of the year is Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story as the original 1961 is one of her favourites of all time.

Additionally, Kelly Stabler, our Graduate Quality Control Operator, is eagerly awaiting the release of Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch after its screening at the Cannes Film Festival this past week to strong reviews from the press.

Managing Director, Simon Briggs, is looking forward to finally getting to see Daniel Craig’s last outing as James Bond as well as Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho.

Marketing Manager, Alasdair Bayman, is eagerly awaiting Leos Garax’s musical Annette alongside Joanna Hogg’s The Souvenir: Part II and Céline Sciamma’s Petite Maman.

Client Services Manager, Aleksandra Horn, is fascinated to see Dune later this year as she adores Timothée Chalamet and Sci-Fi films.

Taha Chowdhury, our IT Support Analyst, expects The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It to be one of his favourite films of the year.

DMS is an agency of film fans. We have all desperately missed cinema-going, missed working on exciting campaigns and missed the sheer enjoyment of great story-telling, spectacular visual effects and the emotion that film an evoke. We look forward to a fantastic second half of the year filled with memorable big-screen experiences.
