DMS wishes you a Merry Christmas

So, that was 2020 then.

Undoubtedly, it has been a challenging year for us all. COVID-19 has had an extraordinary and dramatic effect on our world this year, with tragic loss of life and huge upheaval in our everyday lives.

It has also presented enormous challenges to the theatrical film industry and we have all had to deal with the impact that this has had.

The whole of DMS has been working from our homes in London, Sydney and Los Angeles since mid-March. It is a testament to the commitment, enthusiasm and determination of our talented people that a core group have continued to deliver to our clients throughout, whilst others have only been able to watch and support as we used the UK government furlough scheme to temporarily reduce capacity.

This has enabled us to manage the business during a time where the theatrical movie industry was in a state of inertia and to safeguard our future to ensure that we are able to ramp up and be ready for our clients as restrictions ease and the world starts to turn again.

So whilst we continue to support the industry through these challenging months, we also look forward to 2021 with optimism and hope.

We look forward to having all our team back in the building where they belong. To working with our clients on exciting campaigns as cinemas fully open their doors again. To delivering new creative solutions to our clients to help them engage audiences and enable the theatrical film industry to emerge from the shadow that has been cast by the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

We remain an agency full of passionate film fans who cannot wait to throw their energy and enthusiasm back into DMS. And to ultimately see fantastic movies on the big screen again where they belong.

The human impact of the pandemic has been extraordinary and devastating, and this Christmas we are doing our bit to give something back to those affected by it.

As such, rather than giving gifts this year, DMS will be donating on your behalf to the following charities that are engaged in the fight against COVID-19. We hope you will agree that this is the right thing to do in such a challenging year.
