DMS Creative Services is the in-house production and post-production hub at DMS.

From ideation to final delivery, our mission is to create world-class video content that engages, inspires, entertains, and ultimately connects global audiences with our clients.

We’ve earned our stripes working with Hollywood film studios, independent distributors, TV production companies, luxury brands, international sports organisations and live entertainment companies. From TV commercials, to online promos, social formats, long-form documentaries, junkets, red carpets, virtual Q&As and DOOH… we’ve done it all!

Our dynamic and growing team of sixteen is made of other creative producers, creative directors, production managers, production assistants, motion graphic designers and editors.

We are looking for a highly experienced, versatile and self-motivated editor to lead our team of five Editors in the Creative Services Department. To succeed in the role, you must be creative, detailed and client-focussed as an editor, while also able to mentor and coach your team.

You’ll have to multitask between delivering your own edits, acting as primary liaison other stakeholders within the Creative Services team and working closely with the senior Management structure, across the wider DMS business.

The job is client facing, so building a strong rapport with clients in a personable but professional way is key.

You will report to the Head of Creative Services and working closely with the Head of Graphics, Production Manager and Creative Producers/Director in the team.


Edit content in a variety of styles and pacing to the highest of standards.

Communicate clearly with producers to deliver their creative briefs and liaise with them on matters pertaining to your team members and their work.

Deliver creative solutions, whether directed by client/producer or empowered to lead with your own ideas.

Work with editors to develop their skill sets and set out their future development within the business.

Work collaboratively with clients to maintain satisfaction in current work and to mould the future of the relationship.

Liaise with graphics and audio departments to ensure all aspects of a job are satisfactory, both creatively and technically.

Participate in idea development from the outset of a job with the wider production team.

Ensure the standards of all work delivered by the department meets expectation, through in-progress feedback and final QC.

Skills & Experience

7 – 10 years high end post production experience, ideally in a Senior Editor role.

Adobe Premiere Pro to the highest level, After Effects to intermediate level minimum.

A strong sense of narrative and pacing, whether cutting short or long form content.

With sports playing a large part of our client roster, experience in sports content (ideally basketball) is crucial. Ideally you will also have experience working across brands, lifestyle, advertising and broadcast.

Strong knowledge of media management and format encoding/versioning across all delivery platforms.

Mentoring/Management experience with junior editors and/or a strong interest to develop leadership skills.

Strong communication skills when dealing with colleagues and clients.

Extremely well organised and able to deliver on time and under pressure.

Experience of off-site and remote editing.
